Orticanoodles - Whispers of Nature

Whispers of Nature is a silkscreen print on paper made by the Orticanoodles in 2024, depicting a female face immersed in petals and natural forms, evoking an intimate dialogue between the human figure and the natural world. The image is divided into vertical panels that break down and recompose the subject, giving a sense of mystery and depth to the work.

The color palette is vibrant and engaging, with shades of blue, purple, red and turquoise alternating to create a fascinating contrast between the natural elements and the human face. Cool colors blend with warm tones, creating a visual effect that is both hypnotic and surreal. The face appears in fragments: deep eyes, lips and facial details partially emerge, like whispers hidden among petals, seeming to suggest a muted but eloquent dialogue with the surroundings.

The work explores the link between man and nature, a central theme in the work of the Orticanoodles, expressing their interest in the interaction and fusion between the human and natural worlds. Through the contemporary graphic language of silkscreen printing and the use of fragmented lines, Whispers of Nature suggests the idea of an elusive beauty, a subtle and fluid harmony that is only partially revealed, evoking a deep and symbolic connection between the human figure and the silent force of nature.

The artists describe the work as

They suggest a poetic connection between the female subject and nature, emphasizing a feeling of love and respect for the environment.
