Mr. Brainwash - Not Guilty
A unique piece by Mr. Brainwash, Not Guilty was created using mixed media on paper and measures 20x16 in.
In the centre of the composition is the stenciled figure of a policeman, bent over a child who smiles tenderly after having stained the man's trousers with blueprints. The two stand out against the two-dimensional background. These are recurrent subjects in the works by Mr. Brainwash, an artist with a pop attitude who combines stencils, collage, dripping and spray painting.
Through the inclusion of details reminiscent of the great masters of the pop world, Mr. Brainwash original artwork is enriched in the background with curious references to the inspirational motifs of the artist. The dialectic between the bright colours and the subjects of the painting, rendered in black and white, appears like an unstoppable flow of positive energy, which spreads to every detail.
Between the child and the policeman floats a yellow inscription that reads "Love", recalling the motto of Mr. Brainwash: "Love is the answer". Through his works, the street artist intends to be the advocate of brainwashing, to convey his undying passion for colours, for life and for the forthcoming.
