Marco Lodola - Bacio a Times Square - Canvas

Marco Lodola's artwork, Bacio a Times Square, is made with the technique of enamel on canvas.

The subject of this work is inspired by the famous "Kiss in Times Square", photographed on 14 August 1945 and became iconic of the Twentieth century: a nurse and a sailor, immortalized by photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt, celebrate the end of the Second World War with a spontaneous and passionate kiss in the great New York.

The two protagonists wrapped in colors convey timeless emotions. The moment of the kiss is suspended, in this canvas, and stands out against a coloured background.

Bacio a Times Square is a unique work made and it measures 23.6x23.6 in.
